Endurance Aventure Summer 2026: A Historic Season

From July 23 to 26, 2026, Témiscamingue will host the very first ARWS Junior Adventure Racing World Championship.

Like every year, summer brings its share of adventures, discoveries, encounters, and expeditions. But this season is entirely different for the Endurance Aventure team. For the first time in about 28 years of existence, we have chosen to pause the majority of our standard events to devote all our energy to a landmark project: organizing the inaugural Junior World Championship of the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS).

An ambitious project. A deeply human project. A project that mirrors our values, and above all, a project that will showcase Quebec, Témiscamingue, and our entire community of adventurers on the international stage.

Organized by Endurance Aventure in close collaboration with the Société de développement du Témiscamingue (SDT), this historic event will bring together 40 teams representing 10+ countries. These teams didn't get here by chance: the vast majority had to qualify through rigorous national championships or earn selection by their national federation to officially represent their country.

For four consecutive days, the world's elite young adventurers aged 16 to 25 will go head-to-head on an epic wilderness course combining orienteering, trekking, mountain biking, canoeing, navigation, and teamwork. More than just a race, this championship is a true celebration of exploration, resilience, collaboration, and camaraderie.

We need your energy and support. The inaugural Junior World Championship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience world-class racing from the inside and give back to the next generation what adventure sports have given you over the years.

By joining our volunteer crew, you will directly help deliver an unforgettable experience to youth from across the globe, as well as many Quebecers and Canadians sharing your passion.

Whether at athlete hospitality, logistics, course marshalling, transition zones, safety patrol, or team support, your involvement makes all the difference. In years to come, you will be able to proudly say: "I was there. I helped organize the very first Junior World Adventure Racing Championship." Come make history with us.
